Lady Rangers Beat Quincy

The Lady Rangers picked up a big 49-45 win over Quincy tonight.  The game was very tightly contested all night long. Mallory Wheeler returned to the lineup after being sidelined with an injury on Friday to lead the ladies with 14 points and 8 boards. Lauren Dewey had her best game of the year scoring

8th Grade Girls Basketball vs. Comets

The Lady Rangers traveled to Jonesville Monday night to battle the Comets. Early shooting woes plagued the Rangers as they scored only 2 points in the first half. The Comets came away with a 28-15 victory. Leading the Rangers were Aubrey Pitts with 5 points and Serenity Trott with 4. Also scoring for the Rangers

Rangers Battle in Double OT

The Reading Rangers Boys Varsity Basketball team hosted the state ranked and undefeated Quincy Orioles this past Tuesday night. The two teams played the first quarter to an 11-11 tie with the help of three points from Porter Mauk, Nick Affholter, and Damon Black. Both teams would battle back and forth in the second quarter

JV Boys Basketball Beat Quincy

The JV boys hosted the Quincy Orioles Tuesday night, and came away with 53-45 victory.  Quincy jumped out to a big lead early, and the Rangers had to fight back.  Down by as much as 12, Reading was able to cut the deficit to 9 at the half.  The 2nd half would be all Rangers

8th Grade Girls Basketball Fall to Bronson

The 8th grade Lady Rangers traveled to Bronson Wednesday to face a tough Bronson Vikings team. In a hard-fought battle, the Rangers came up short 28-25. Leading the scoring for the Rangers was Serenity Trott with 13 points. Amber Whitcomb had 4 points, and Alexis Engel, Whitney Neely, Aubrey Pitts, and Maddie Stead scored 2

Lady Rangers Fall Short vs. Yellowjackets

A slow start doomed the Lady Rangers tonight. They came out flat and fell behind 16-4 after one quarter and 26-13 at the half.  The ladies showed some life in the second half by out scoring Concord 37-31. We were able cut the lead down to 5, but could never get any closer losing 57-50.

Ranger Wrestling at Team Districts

On Wednesday, February 6th, the Reading wrestling team traveled to Bronson High School for Team Districts. The Rangers came up short on the evening succumbing to Bronson 60 to 22.  Winning for Reading were Dalton Green (103), Aaron Bignell (119), Dakota Kies (130), and Elijah Strine (215).   Bignell, Kies, and Strine all won by fall. 

Rangers Beat Spartans on Homecoming

The Reading Boys Varsity Basketball team hosted the Springport Spartans this past Friday for Homecoming. The Rangers would play with a lot of energy to begin the game.  An 11-2 run would put the Spartans on their heels early.  Nick Affholter would score 8 points, with Alex Price and Tyler Whinnie adding 4 points in
