Lady Rangers Home Opener Ends in Victory

The Lady Rangers jumped on top of Morenci early using some great ball movement to create open shots on the offensive end and pressure defense to get some easy buckets in a 49-27 victory. 8th Grade Boys Lose Tough Battle at Springport

The Reading 8th grade boys travelled to Springport Wednesday night to face the 7-1 Spartans. After a tough battle, the Rangers dropped another close one 24-20. The Rangers beat the Spartans 36-20 last night in 7th grade action.  The Spartans started with hot shooting but the Ranger defense settled in and took over. The Reading 8th grade boys basketball team hosted Jonesville Monday night in Kerspilo gymnasium and lost a nail biter 22-21. The Reading 8th grade boys’ basketball team hosted the Bronson Vikings Monday night in Kerspilo gymnasium. Our 7th grade team beat Homer 34 16 last night in Big 8 JH basketball action.  The Rangers stepped up and outscored their opponent in every quarter.  The young Rangers played very good defense again holding Homer to just one basket in the 4th. Eight Rangers scored with Kayden Hanning leading the way with 8.
