BCAM Recognizes Ranger Boys

Four members of Ranger Boys Varsity Basketball team was recently recognized by the Basketball Coaches Association (BCAM) for their dedication to academic success.  Players Mitchell Caldwell, Jayson Scoville, Ben Afholter, and Nick Affholter all received the BCAM 2020 Outstanding Senior Student Athlete Award for having a GPA of 3.8 or higher.  Congratulations and best of luck in

BCAM Honors Boys and Girls Basketball Teams

The Basketball Coaches Association of Michigan (BCAM) recently announced its postseason awards. Both the Rangers Boys and Girls Basketball teams were recognized for team grade point average as Team Academic All State in Division 3. Four Ranger Wrestlers Compete at State

 On Friday, March 6th and Saturday, March 7th, Reading wrestling State qualifiers Dalton Green (112), Eathan Westfall (215), Elijah Strine (215), and Josh Johnson (285) traveled to Ford Field in Detroit for the Individual State Finals Tournament.  The Rangers fought hard earning 10 wins in the tournament with three individuals making the podium.  Seniors Dalton Green

Rangers Earn Big 8 Champ Title

The Reading Rangers hosted the Homer Trojans this past week in the regular season finale, with the Rangers needing a win to earn at least a share of the Big 8 Conference Championship. The two teams would battle back and forth in the first quarter.  A hot outside shooting Gabe Rife would lead the way

The JV Boys Lose Close One to Homer

The JV boys dropped a heart breaker Tuesday night in their final game of the season, falling 46-45 to the Homer Trojans.  It was a hard fought game.  The Rangers had Homer on the ropes, but the Trojans hit 6 second half three pointers that proved to be just enough to put away the Rangers. 

Lady Rangers Season Comes to an End

The Lady Rangers season came to an end with a loss to Quincy in the Districts at Bronson. Cold shooting and an aggressive Oriole offense were too much to overcome.  The Lady Rangers lost 49-25. The girls finished the year 8-13 and 5-9 in league play.

Lady Rangers Drop Final Home Game

The Lady Rangers dropped their final game of the regular season to Quincy 45-30 Friday night. Seniors Isabella North and Jordan Bloom both played their final game in Kerspilo Gym. Thank you for four years of hustle and dedication to the program. You are leaving it in a better place than when you entered it!
