Game 1
Rangers get the offense going early against Burr Oak in a 16-0 victory.  Cole Boyd had 3 hits and 4 RBI while Justin Strunk added a double and a triple.  The Ranger Defense and David Dau shut out Burr Oak striking out 4 and only allowing 1 hit.
Game 2
Rangers rally in the 5th and hang on for a 8-5 victory in the championship game over Tekonsha.  Rangers got off to a 2-0 lead with Justin Strunk scoring both runs, 1 from an RBI single by Dakota Shay in the top of the 4th.  Tekonsha scored 3 runs of their own in the bottom of the 4th inning.  The Rangers then scored 6 runs in the top of the 6th inning- all with 2 outs.  Javin Green delivered a clutch 2 RBI single that opened the gates. RBI singles by Cole Boyd and Zach Thatcher followed.  Cole Boyd pitched a scoreless 6th inning and recorded his first varsity win, and Dakota Shay closed out the game to earn the save.
Rangers host Concord on Tuesday in a Big 8 contest.
