Multiple Teams · Lady Ranger Volleyball Kicks off 2016 Season

This weekend the Lady Ranger Volleyball had their season opener in Addison.  The team finished pool play with a 2-4 record and then advanced to the silver bracket.  First game they faced Litchfield in two games and advanced to the finals versus Grass Lake.  The ladies fought three hard games and came out on top winning the silver bracket. Final game scores were as follows with Reading listed first.  25-21, 19-25 and 15-9.  Leading the Rangers for the day were.

Madison Caldwell with 19 kills, 10 blocks and 5 Aces.  Mackenzie Webb added 16 kills and Madeline Stump had 14 kills for the day.  Kaja Seiler had 38 assists and 9 Aces.  Leading the defense for the Rangers was Katie Creager with 17 digs and 4 Aces.

“Overall I was extremely happy with how our first tournament went.  Now we go back and work on those thing we saw, as we have our home opener on Tuesday versus Jonesville and Camden.” said Coach Bailey.  The Lady Rangers will host Camden and Jonesville on Tuesday, Aug. 23rd game time 5:30.
