The Lady Rangers got their first league win as they opened up against the Springport Spartans. Reading won the first two matches, (25-18, 25-16) and fell short in the third match 21-25. The ladies battled in a tough fourth match coming from a 6 point deficit to come out on top earning a victory ( 25-23). Leaders for the Rangers were Lauren Routledge with 8 kills, 4 blocks and 3 aces. Madison Caldwell lead the team with 7 blocks, 5 kills and 2 aces. Katie Creager had a great night serving for the team. “Overall we played together as a team and was exciting to see each girl contributing to the win tonight.” said Coach Bailey. The team is off this weekend and have their next game at home on September 20 against Homer.
