The Ranger JV basketball team travel to Quincy Tuesday night, and came away with a 49-32 victory. It was a game that saw the Rangers play tough defense, and score in spurts. The Rangers were led in scoring by Porter Mauk, as he netted 19 points. Dilon Denison added 11. Brogan Wiler and Eli Irelan each scored 6. Ricardo Cabrera scored 3. And Duke Green and Roger Hill rounded out the Ranger attack with 2 points each.
The win improves the Rangers to 8-0, 4-0 in conference play. Reading will next travel to Homer to battle the Trojans on Thursday. The JV girls will play first starting at 5:30, with the Ranger Boys to follow.
