Rangers News · Lady Rangers Fall Short vs. Yellowjackets

A slow start doomed the Lady Rangers tonight. They came out flat and fell behind 16-4 after one quarter and 26-13 at the half.  The ladies showed some life in the second half by out scoring Concord 37-31. We were able cut the lead down to 5, but could never get any closer losing 57-50. Raylynn Swick scored 15 and grabbed 9 boards, Mallory Wheeler scored 10 with 9 boards. Claire VanDyke played a great game defensively, (with the help of her teammates) she held one of the leagues top scorers to more than 10 points BELOW her scoring average.  The team will travel to Union City on Friday, Feb. 8th game time 5:30 p.m.
