Rangers News · 8th Grade Boys Basketball Beat Orioles

The Reading 8th grade boys hosted the Quincy Orioles Monday night in basketball action in Kerspilo Gymnasium. It was a fun night for the Rangers as five different players scored in the first quarter to race out to a 15-1 lead. The lead grew to more than 20 in the 3rd quarter, and the Rangers cruised to a 41-25 victory.

Tayshawn Bester led all scorers with 13 points, followed by Alek Nash with 10. Zackary Peiffer scored 6, and Nathan Robbins and Isaac Tucker each had 4 points. Aiden Bailey nailed a 3-pointer for his points, and Colton Hoover chipped in a foul shot.
The Rangers will be road warriors the rest of this week as they travel to Union City Wednesday, and then to Homer Thursday in what promises to be two hotly contested games.
Great job, Rangers, and good luck for the rest of this week.
