Rangers News · JV Rangers Win Season Opener

The Ranger JV boys took on Camden last Friday evening, and came away with a 42-13 victory.  The Ranger offense struggled early, but their Defense was dominant all game, shutting out Camden in both the 1st and 3rd quarters.

Colton Wiler and Duke Green led the Rangers in scoring with 7 points apiece.  Wiler also added 10 rebounds.  Colton Bassage and Sam Strine each scored 6 points.  Luke Potter had 5 points.  Jesse Cabrera hit a sweet jumper just before the 1st half buzzer sounded, and added a bucket in the 2nd half to net a total of 4 points.  Landen Clabaugh got in the scoring column with a corner 3 in the 2nd half.  Braeden Westfall applied some full court pressure to create a steal and layup.  Jacob Hamilton rounded out the Ranger scoring attack with 2 points of his own.

Reading is now 1-0, and next does battle Tuesday night at home vs Fremont.  Game time is 5:30, with the Varsity boys to follow.  Please come support the Rangers!
