Rangers News · Lady Rangers Lose Close Game to Pittsford

The Lady Rangers travelled to Pittsford for a non-league Tuesday game and came up on the short end of a 43-40 game. Lauren Dewey had her best scoring night of her varsity career with 16 points.  The Rangers came out focused controlled the pace of the game during the first quarter and jumped out to an early 9-6 lead. After trading buckets to start the 2nd quarter Pittsford used a 10-2 run to open a 5 point lead at the half. The third quarter was sloppy, but the girls were able to make a late third quarter run to bring keep the deficit at 5. After taking a brief fourth quarter lead, Pittsford closed the game on an 8-3 run for the win.  The loss drops our record to 4-4 overall and 1-1 in the league. Our next game is Friday at Jonesville. We play at 5:30!
