The Ranger wrestlers braved the weather this past Saturday and traveled to Comstock High School to compete in the Comstock Team Invitational. Reading wrestled three matches, winning all three to leave with the 1st place team trophy. The Rangers opened the day against the Panthers of Parchment getting out to a quick 30-0 lead that the Panthers could not recover from. The dual ended with a Ranger victory 63-10. The Rangers then took to the mat against Comstock. Reading dominated the Colts and ended the dual with 72 points to Comstock’s 6. In the final match of the day, the Rangers squared off with the Spartans of Battle Creek Lakeview. This dual ended in a similar fashion to the first two with the Rangers obliterating the competition, coming away with a final score of 66-18. Going 3-0 for the Rangers were Hunter Dewey (103), Dalton Green (112), Randy LoPresto (119), Addison Mosley (125), Dakota Kies (135), Brady Hull (140), Andrew Rhoades (189), and Josh Johnson (285).
