The Reading 8th grade girls finished their season Saturday morning with a game at Concord against Union City. The ladies played extremely hard, battling back from an 11 point deficit to within 4 points early in the fourth, but eventually fell 33-22.
Sharing the ball and balanced scoring became the trademark of this team and was reflected in this game’s scoring. Sydney Fowler and Sydnee Mauk each had 6 points, while Taylor Engel and Tatiana Charters each had 5 points..
The Rangers, playing short-handed with 6 players all year, played competitively and with enthusiasm in every game to finish their season with a 2-10 record.
Great season, Lady Rangers!
