Rangers News · The JV Boys Lose Close One to Homer

The JV boys dropped a heart breaker Tuesday night in their final game of the season, falling 46-45 to the Homer Trojans.  It was a hard fought game.  The Rangers had Homer on the ropes, but the Trojans hit 6 second half three pointers that proved to be just enough to put away the Rangers.  Duke Green led the scoring attack for the Rangers with 12 points.  Jacob Hamilton had 10, Colton Wiler had 9, Colton Bassage had 7, Maverick Messenger had 4 and Zac Affholter rounded out the Ranger attack with 3.  Reading finishes the season 15-5 overall and 11-3 in Big 8 play.  Despite the loss, the Rangers enjoyed a great season and should be very proud of the heart and effort they displayed night in and night out.
