The Lady Rangers continued their winning streak last night by defeating Athens 95-41. The Rangers swept all the relays while Michelle Davis won both hurdles, Emily Cook took first in the discus and Shelby Fowler placed first in the two mile. Boys Track Triumphs Over Athens

Rangers won 87-50 in Boys Track. The Rangers swept all four relays. We took the top 3 spots in the 100 and the 300 hurdles. Shannon Cummins was the only multiple event winner; both hurdle races. Mason Thomas and Logan Edmonson tied for 1st in the Pole Vault. Dale Holmes won the 100 meter dash.

JV Softball Goes Down Swinging

The junior varsity softball team lost to Concord 17-2 and 15-5. Gabby Grace led the Rangers with 4 hits. Kayleigh Schaffer had 3 hits with 2 of them being doubles. Paige Parker had a single in Game 2 along with a fantastic defensive play. The Lady Rangers will play at Quincy on Saturday, 5/11.

Rangers Drop Two

Reading won the first game 4-2. Justin Panarisi scattered 5 hits and struck out 6 for the victory. The Rangers dropped the night cap 9-6. Devin Higley collected two hits on the night.

Boys Track Beat by Quincy

Our boys track team lost to Quincy last night 95-42. Shannon Cummins won both hurdle events. Dylan Ash won the high jump. Logan Edmonson and Mason Thomas tied in the pole vault. Varsity Track will travel to Athens on 5/9 to make up a rained out meet.

Jr. High Girls Track Beat Out Jonesville and Union City

Jr. High Girls Track team ran against Jonesville and Union City last Wednesday winning against both teams with a total score of 77 points. Ann Weidmayer took first place in high jump while Hailey Sims placed first in the mile.

Suspended Game Ends in Victory

The Rangers defeated the Athens Indians 9-8 in eight innings. Alex Simmons pitched a scoreless eighth to pick up the win. The Rangers picked up hits by Trent Shafer, Jacob Green, and Devin Higley in the eighth to score the winning run. Higley and Ryan Galloway collected two hits each. Rangers now stand at 8-4.
