A young Rangers team fought hard to a 16-16 tie at the half Monday night in Camden.  Some of the early year inexperience proved to be the difference as turnovers and back to back three-point baskets by Camden helped them get a 10 point lead.  Deficit was to much to overcome and the Rangers fell

Lady Rangers Lose to Fremont

The Lady Rangers Varsity Basketball team traveled to Fremont Wednesday night.  After a slow start but battling back in the second half the team lost 48-41.  Brittany Marquart had 13 points and 5 steals.  Tayler Coe chipped in 9 points.  The lady’s will play Quincy in their home opener on Friday, Demember 13th game time

Wrestling at Hillsdale Tournament

The Reading Varsity Wrestling Team traveled to Hillsdale and competed against Adrian Madison and Tecumseh B Team. Reading lost against Adrian Madison 58-24 and fell to Tecumseh 51-29. The highlights of both matches were when freshmen Trey Shafer and Noah Strine went 2-0 on the evening. The wrestling team competes Saturday, 12/14 at Concord High

Varsit Wrestling Wins at Colon

This past Saturday, the Reading Varsity Wrestling team traveled to Colon to compete in the Magi Tournament.  The Rangers took first place.  They defeated Homer 54-24, Colon 54-22, Union City 54-24, Pittsford 72-6 and Parchment 53-28.  The Rangers record is 5-0.  Winners included Dylan Burlew, Derek Hiller, Trey Shafer, Tyler Britton, Trent Shafer, Cameron McKibbin,

7th Grade Boys Basketball Beat Union City in OT

The Ranger’s were victorious Wednesday night in a hard fought 37-35 OT over Union city.  The Ranger’s were lead by Anthony Willoughby’s 12 points and Alex Price chipped in 9 points.  The 7th grade will travel to Jonesville this week for the 7th Grade Boys Basketball Tournament, first game is Monday, 12/9 at 6:30 p.m.

Lady Rangers Take Down Terriers

The Lady Rangers beat the Terriers of Litchfield last night 57-11.  Jami Hubbard was top scorer with 17 points, Tayler Coe chipped in 14 points and Jenny Davis had 4 assists.  The team will travel to Fremont, IN on Wednesday, December 11th.

Girls JV Basketball Beats Camden

The JV Girls Basketball team traveled to Camden last night in the season opener, winning 32-30.  Top scorer was Sam Pfeiffer with 14 points and Hailey Sims added 6 points.  Madison Caldwell and Terasa Eidenier were top rebounders. “Very happy with how the team handled our first game.” Coach McKibbin said.  The team will travel

The Lady Rangers kicked of the 2013-14 season last night by traveling to Camden to take on the Redskins.  The Rangers came out on top winning 48-37.  Jami Hubbard was top scorer with 16 points and 13 rebounds.  Tayler Coe and Brittany Marquart both chipped in 9 points each. Re-cap of 7th Grade Boys Basketball

November 25th The Rangers dropped a close one to the Yellow Jackets from Concord 33-28.  The Rangers were led by Tyler Whinnie’s 6 points followed by Cole Boyd and Alex Price’s 5 points each.
