The 7th Grade Boys Lose to Concord and Homer

The Rangers lost to Homer 41-26, despite 10 points from Caleb Miller and 8 points from Cole Boyd. Concord beat the Rangers 33-28.  Seven Rangers got into the scoring column including:  Chris Reichhart, Zac Keegan, Cole Boyd, Alex Price, Tyler Whinnie, Taylor Noble, and Caleb Miller.  The Ranger’s continue to struggle at the free throw

8th Grade Boys Basketball Beat the Comets

The Rangers topped the Comets Wednesday night by a score of 25-16.  The Ranger’s were led by 8 points each from Tyler Whinnie and Alex Price.  Cole Boyd chipped in 4 to go along with a strong defensive performance.  The team will travel to Homer on Wednesday, November 20th game time is 5:00 p.m.

Recap of 8th Grade Boys Basketball Week 2

The 8th Grade Boys Basketball team took on Athens and Jonesville this week.  Monday Athens beat the team 27-44.  Corbin Hoover was the top scorer with 8 points.  On Wednesday the young team went up against Jonesville getting their first win of the season beating Jonesville in overtime 37-34.  Isaiah Hibbard was the top scorer

7th Grade Boys Beat Athens

The Ranger’s escaped with a 34-32 victory Monday against Athens.  The game was highlighted by Alex Price’s buzzer beater.  All members of the team pitched in to help get the victory.

Last Week Re-cap of 8th Grade Boys Basketball

The Jr. High Boys Basketball season kicked off with the young Rangers playing Quincy on 11/4, losing 25-38.  Corbin Hoover led the Rangers with 10 points.  On Wednesday the team took on Concord losing 53-34.  Corbin Hoover scored 14 points.  The team will have their home opener on Monday, November 11th game time is 6:00

7th Grade Boys Beat Concord

The 7th grade boys’ were victorious Wednesday night against Concord.  Alex Price had 12 points and Anthony Willoughby added 10.  The final score was 32-21.  The team will have their home opener on Monday, November 11th game time is 6:00 p.m.

Lady Rangers Compete at State Cross Country Meet

On Saturday, November 2, the Reading Girls CC team competed at the Division 4 State Final at Michigan Speedway.  The Lady Rangers finished 13th out of 27 teams. In a field of 245 runners, they were led by Terasa Eidenier in 14th place with a time of 19:45 and Hailey Sims in 88th with a

Volleyball Districts

The Rangers fell last night in a tough District to Mendon.  “We knew heading into the game that this would be our toughest match of the year.  We struggled in set one with serve receive however after some adjustments we were able to play a better game in sets two and three.” stated Coach Nicole

7th Grade Boys Lose to Quincy

The 7th grade boys fell to Quincy Monday night 33-24.  The Rangers were led by Tyler Whinnie’s 6 points followed by Anthony Willoughby’s 5.  The boys will travel to Concord on Wednesday, November 6th game time 5:00 p.m.

Cross Country Regional Meet Recap

At the Regional Meet over the weekend in Hudson, the Lady Ranger CC team qualified for the State Meet this weekend at MIS. Earning medals were Terasa Eidenier in 5th and Hailey Sims in 15th. Race time for the Division 4 Final is 10:00 a.m this Saturday at MIS.
