Rangers Take Down Indians

Week 2 action saw the Rangers win 35-0 over the Athens Indians.  Reading rode a strong defensive effort for the victory.  Brandon St. Claire and Alex Miller each returned interceptions for TD’s in the first quarter.  Corey Norris led the Rangers in tackles with 8 while Jon Randall and Brandon St. Claire each had 5.

Rangers attend Pittsford Early Bird Invite

The Reading Rangers 2013-14 Athletic season was kicked off last week with the Cross Country team traveling to Pittsford for the Early Bird Invitational.  The girls team finished in second place behind Pittsford.  Top finishers were Terasa Eidenier in 3rd place; Michelle Davis in 7th and Marie Weidmayer in 9th.  The boys team placed 3rd

Senator Caswell Recognizes Track Team

At Tuesday’s Board of Education meeting State Senator Bruce Caswell presented a state letter of recognition to boys and girls that placed at the state track meet earlier in June. Ranger Boys Basketball Camp

32 students in grades 3rd – 8th participated in the Ranger Boys Basketball Camp on June 4th, 5th and 6th. The future Rangers were instructed in the skills of basketball including ball handling, passing, shooting and defense. The Lady Rangers beat Pittsford 12-3 in the District Semi-final last Friday. Katie Haines took the win with 9 strike outs and 3 walks.
