JV Rangers End Season 15-5

Lady Rangers Battle Union City

The Lady Rangers season came to an end tonight in Union City. The Chargers topped the Rangers 38-36.  Seniors Baleigh Irelan (scored 17 points) and Emily Hill (scored 7 points) lead the offense. Raylynn Swick grabbed a team high 14 rebounds.  Great season Lady Rangers!

Rangers Beat Bronson

The Reading Boys Varsity Basketball team traveled to Bronson to take on the Vikings this past Friday night. The Rangers would jump out to a quick 3-0 lead on a Tyler Whinnie 3 points shot.  Several scores from Ben and Nick Affholter and a bucket from Damon Black would give the Rangers a 19-9 first quarter lead.

8th Grade Lady Rangers Finish Season 10-2

The Reading 8th grade girls’ basketball team traveled to Union City Saturday to face Springport in their season finale.  After a close first quarter, the Rangers took control in the second quarter as a 3-point busser beater by Mallory Wheeler gave the Rangers a 17-9 halftime lead. The Reading 8th grade girls travelled to Union City Wednesday night to face the Jonesville Comets. LoPresto Advances to State

 On Saturday, February 17th, Reading wrestlers Dalton Green, Carter McKibbin, Ethan LoPresto, and Elijah Strine traveled to Hudson High School for the Individual Regionals Tournament.  Green, McKibbin, and Strine fought hard but were not able to place in the region.  LoPresto (152) took 2nd place and now advances to Individual State Finals at Ford Field in Detroit beginning
