JV Baseball Wins One

The JV Baseball Team outscored Union City 13 -12 in game 1 of a double header. David Fitzgerald hit 2 doubles and turned a double play. Jacob Green made his pitching debut and got the win. Rangers lost game two by a score of 13 to 1.

The undefeated Reading Girls Track team beat Union City last Monday 70-67. Lady Rangers Win Litchfield Purdy Invite

The Girls Varsity Track Team won the Litchfield Purdy Invite this past Saturday, scoring 120 points. This is the fourteenth time that the girls have won this invite. Quincy Swept the Rangers

Reading Varsity Baseball dropped a pair to the Orioles last night 16-1 and 19-0. Devin Higley collected three hits in four plate appearances including a triple. The Rangers will play their last home game of the season next Tuesday, 5/21 when Union City comes into town.

Junior Varsity Baseball Finishes Second

Boys Track Triumphs Over Athens

Rangers won 87-50 in Boys Track. The Rangers swept all four relays. We took the top 3 spots in the 100 and the 300 hurdles. Shannon Cummins was the only multiple event winner; both hurdle races. Mason Thomas and Logan Edmonson tied for 1st in the Pole Vault. Dale Holmes won the 100 meter dash.

JV Softball Goes Down Swinging

The junior varsity softball team lost to Concord 17-2 and 15-5. Gabby Grace led the Rangers with 4 hits. Kayleigh Schaffer had 3 hits with 2 of them being doubles. Paige Parker had a single in Game 2 along with a fantastic defensive play. The Lady Rangers will play at Quincy on Saturday, 5/11.
